I am an agroecologist working since October 2024 at Wageningen University, the Netherlands. I place my research within the concept of ecological intensification, which strives to support natural ecosystem services and biodiversity in arable land to make agro-ecosystems more sustainable and nature positive.
My current work, aims to assess the impacts of nature-based solutions and sustainable farming practices on soil health and biodiversity, as well as ecosystem services (e.g. pest control, pollination, soil fertility, crop yield). I use a variety of methods from field and greenhouse experiments to meta-analyses and statistical modelling to evaluate impact of such practices at multiple spatial scales, from field to landscape.
