Welcome. I am an Usui Reiki (Master Level) practitioner, artist and educator who is passionate about sharing, creating, and educating.

Reiki has been a part of my life since I was a child. Reiki is a way to channel universal energy to heal the body, mind and soul. It is a subtle energy practice that provides the healing the body needs at the appropriate time and manner. My parents were both trained in Usui Reiki. As a child if I did not feel well physically or emotionally, my mom would practice on me and I always felt lighter and calmer afterwards. As an adult, Reiki has played an important role in my own healing journey. As a Reiki practitioner, I love working with others as I share this healing gift with them.

In addition to using Reiki in my healing sessions, I also incorporate sound healing with the use of tuning forks and singing bowls. Sound is a powerful tool that assists the healing process when used intentionally. With tuning forks, including vibro-tuners that are used directly on the body, and sound bowls, the tones and vibrations balance the energies of the body and facilitate healing. Vibro-tuners can be placed on the body to stimulate acupuncture points and the body's meridians to improve the flow of the energy in the body for one's overall health.

Art where I express myself creatively is therapeutic for my body, mind and soul. I love to share my art, as well as teach. I enjoy teaching small group classes focused on each person creating their own magic. I focus on the incorporation of the conscious use of color, breath, and intention with art. Color therapy and the use of color for healing has been around since 2000 BC(1). Intentionally incorporating color into art along with marrying the breath with the movement as you create has been found to be very healing and soothing.

My focus is on healing and the ways we can connect to ourselves and tap into our body's innate ability to heal through energy work and art. Reiki has had profound healing effects on me and many others. Art is a powerful tool that can heal our souls and our planet. The two-- art and Reiki--have been vital healing tools on my journey through life. It is an honor to be able to share them now with others.
