Undergraduate Research Intern
I went to the University of California, Merced, the newest university in the system, where I pursued a bachlors degree in Earth System Science. In Merced, I learned how to be a soil biogeochemist, where I honed my research skills and learned techniques such as 15N. A strong foundation in soil science skills, created the opportunity to confidently pursue a graduate degree. However, after leaving Merced, I never thought I would evolve to agriculture, where I went on to pursue practical and applied research in the field of soil nutrient management.Â
