St. Anne School Music Classes

This is the Home Page for Music Classes taught by Mrs. Flaviani. Click on your class link above, either in the upper right hand corner or left hand corner of this page, to access your class activity. On some browsers, the classes might be in a drop down menu or under "more" at the top of the page. IMPORTANT: THIS IS A PRIVATE SECURED SITE FOR ST. ANNE SCHOOL MUSIC.

Dear Parents and Students of St. Anne School,

I wish a happy and holy Thanksgiving to you and your loved ones. May your holiday be filled with joy.

As many of you know, our school Christmas Program has always been one of great enjoyment. Watching the students sing and dance is such a happy occasion. This year, we will be presenting a pre-recorded Christmas show that includes all students, those students at school and students that are Distant Learning. To make this non- stressful and fun, we will be performing a version of last year’s concert. I chose this avenue because it was such a fun show last year and the majority of the students already know their songs. Each class is singing the song that their class sang last year. Each class song and movement will be the web pages of this site.

On this website you will find links to the different class pages and on each class page, there will be the music, video of movement, details of what to wear, etc. and pdf of the lyrics if needed. (I think most of the students know their part by heart).

DETAILS FOR STUDENTS THAT ARE DISTANT LEARNING:

Each student will send me a video of him/her singing and movement of their class songs. It is preferred that the video be an mp4 if possible.

Students will be singing with the music version that has vocals.

Students are welcome to decorate their space how they would like.

Details of what to wear will be on the individual class page on the Music Website.

No mask is required because the video is being recorded at home.

DETAILS FOR STUDENTS AT SCHOOL

Students at school will be video recorded at school in their classroom or outside

IMPORTANT – Students at school have the option to make a video at home. This gives them more opportunities such as decorating their space.

Students can bring a Santa hat or some kind of Christmas hat to school.

Masks will be required if being video recorded at school with their class.

Students will be singing with the music version that has vocals.

DETAILS FOR MAKING THE VIDEO RECORDING:

Students can sing wearing headphones/ear buds and will be singing along with the vocal version of the song.

Students can play the music through a speaker softly and sing along so their voice is the strongest.

Students can sing and do movements along with the video. The sound should be softer than the student singing. The device being used to video can be behind the device (laptop, ipad, etc) so the camera picks up the student faced forward. (look at the sample picture below)

Important: Once video is completed it is sent to me via email.

As stated earlier, students at school have the option of making their video at home. This gives more flexibility and they do not have to wear a mask when they sing.

The due date for the Christmas video is Wednesday, Dec. 2nd so I can have enough time to put the video together for presentation as this process does take some time. I’m proud that the students are doing so well and are very excited. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. Thank you for your continued support for St. Anne School and our School Music Program.

Thank you,

Mrs. Laura Flaviani
