LaunchSwitch Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 15, 2026
Overview
LaunchSwitch is a Chrome extension that helps users switch Adobe Launch / Adobe Experience Platform Tags environments on the current website.
Data accessed
LaunchSwitch accesses limited information from the active webpage that is necessary to provide its core functionality, including the Adobe Launch property, environment, embed URL, and related page context.
Data storage
Development and staging environment URLs configured by the user are stored locally using Chrome extension storage. Temporary override state is also stored locally and is automatically removed after 30 minutes, when the user returns to PROD, or when the relevant tab is closed.
Data collection and transmission
LaunchSwitch does not collect, transmit, sell, share, or monetize personal data or browsing data. Data used by the extension remains on the user's device and is not sent to the developer or to any analytics, cloud storage, advertising, or external API service.
Permissions
LaunchSwitch requests only the permissions required to detect Adobe Launch on the active page, save user-configured environment mappings, and temporarily redirect Adobe Launch embed requests when the user explicitly activates an override. Site access is requested only when necessary for that action.
Remote code
LaunchSwitch does not execute remotely hosted extension code. All extension logic is included in the extension package.
Third parties
LaunchSwitch does not share user data with third parties. When an environment override is enabled, the browser may load the Adobe Launch embed URL explicitly configured by the user from Adobe's infrastructure.
Data retention and deletion
Saved environment mappings remain stored locally until the user changes them, clears the extension's data, or uninstalls LaunchSwitch. Temporary override information expires automatically as described above.
Changes to this policy
This privacy policy may be updated if LaunchSwitch's functionality or data practices change.
Contact
For privacy-related questions, users may contact the developer through the contact information provided on the Chrome Web Store listing.
