MindWeave Systems ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Lattice - Offline Mind Mapper mobile application (the "App") for Android.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you use our App.
Lattice is designed to be an offline-first, private-by-default productivity tool.
No Personal Data Collected: We do not collect, request, harvest, or store any personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email address, phone number, location, or device identifiers.
No Account Registration: You do not need to create an account or log in to use any features of the App.
All content you create inside the App is stored exclusively on your physical device.
Local Database: Your mind maps, node titles, dynamic connector settings, metadata, custom checklist tasks, and notes are saved directly in a sandboxed SQLite database managed by the Android operating system on your device.
No Server Transmission: We do not host servers, cloud systems, or database syncing services. Your mind maps are never transmitted to us or any third parties over the internet.
User Control: You retain full ownership and control over your data. If you delete the App from your device, all locally stored mind maps and database configurations will be permanently removed unless you have manually backed them up using the manual JSON export feature.
Lattice operates with minimal device privileges to maximize security.
Clipboard Access (Export/Import): The App utilizes Android's ClipboardManager API solely when you explicitly tap "Copy JSON" (to export your mind map configuration) or "Load Clipboard" (to restore a previously saved map). This data is processed entirely in your device's active memory and is never transmitted online.
Network Permissions: The App does not require or request network communication permissions (android.permission.INTERNET) to function, ensuring complete offline isolation.
To guarantee complete privacy, Lattice does not integrate with:
Third-party advertising networks.
Analytics, tracking, or telemetry suites (such as Google Analytics or Firebase).
Social media platforms or single sign-on (SSO) plugins.
The security of your creative knowledge maps relies on the security of your physical device. Lattice utilizes standard Android Application Sandboxing, which prevents other apps on your device from accessing Lattice’s SQLite database. We recommend keeping your device updated and secured with a PIN, pattern, or biometric lock to safeguard your local files.
Lattice does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The App is completely safe for use by individuals of all ages.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Because the App operates entirely offline, we encourage you to review this policy periodically through our official distribution channels.
