ABOUT COMMUNITY COLLEGE

The California Community College system has 116 campuses throughout California. All campuses offer courses that prepare students to transfer to a four-year college or complete a career training program. Students can enroll in classes at any of these campuses.

Concurrent Enrollment & Summer Academy

• Students may take courses at DVC for college credit while still in high school. Read more here.

• Students can also explore career opportunities with other high school students while earning college credit. Read more here.

Diablo Valley College (DVC) in Pleasant Hill is the closest community college to Las Lomas and routinely has one of the state's highest transfer rates to UC. DVC is a great partner to Las Lomas, but students can enroll in any of our community colleges. Some local community colleges offer programs not found at DVC (and vice versa).
