Both the study abroad office and Disability Resources and Educational Services (DRES) can serve as a resource if you are a student with either a visible or non-visible disability, and require accommodations while abroad. DRES is a resources for students with diagnosed disabilities including and not limited to physical disabilities, learning differences, and mental/behavioral disorders. If you are not yet registered with DRES but have a disability it may be a good idea to get registered so that you have access to their support.
If you have a DRES accommodation, speak with your DRES advisor immediately and disclose to your study abroad advisor if you are comfortable, so that they can advocate for you to the host institution.
Review the DRES webpage on study abroad.
