Prioritization, Organization, Procrastination and Attention

This lecture, titled Prioritization, Organization, Procrastination and Attention, is intended to provide support to all students who might struggle with these topics -- from an instructor who definitely does!  It forms the core component of an important extra credit opportunity for my students, but I think it holds something for most people and I hope you find it useful!  CCSF students: You will need to log into your library account, but this New York Times Opinion piece by Oliver Burkeman about multitasking is worth a good read.

Over the years I have found a few additional helpful resources to go along with the above lecture. Learning about a growth mindset is extremely important to developing grit and resilience (if you review the inforgraphic and find yourself on the wrong side of it, there are many books, workbooks, and other ways to work on it).

In addition to the tips in the lecture, here are some additional ideas for time management from Cengage.
