I'm Lara, a postdoc at the Leibniz Institute for Astrophysics Potsdam. I was previously in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Johns Hopkins University, and I completed my PhD at the Research School of Astronomy and Astrophysics at the Australian National University. 

My research interests are in Galactic (and extragalactic!) archaeology, and near-field cosmology: I use detailed studies of Local Group galaxies to learn more about galaxy interactions and evolution on a large scale.
