Privacy Policy for Lane Reflex
Effective Date: August 19, 2026
1. Introduction
Lane Reflex ("we," "our," or "the App") is committed to protecting user privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines our standards and practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you use our mobile application.
2. Information Collection and Use
Lane Reflex does not collect, store, or transmit any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) or sensitive user data. Specifically, we do not access or collect:
Personal identifiers (e.g., names, email addresses, phone numbers).
Device or network identifiers (e.g., IP addresses, MAC addresses, unique device IDs).
Precise or approximate location data.
Device media, contacts, or local files.
3. Local Data Storage
All gameplay-related data—including high scores, audio settings, display themes, and language preferences—is stored locally on your device using Android's DataStore.
This data remains strictly on your device.
We cannot access, view, or back up this data to external servers.
Uninstalling the App or clearing app data will permanently remove these local files.
4. Third-Party Services and Analytics
Because the App functions entirely offline and gathers no user metrics:
No Analytics: We do not integrate third-party analytics frameworks (e.g., Google Analytics for Firebase).
No Advertisements: The App is completely ad-free and does not request the Google Advertising ID (AAID).
No Data Sharing: We do not sell, rent, or trade any user information with external vendors or business partners.
5. App Permissions
Lane Reflex requires no dangerous or special runtime permissions (such as Camera, Microphone, Storage, or Location access) to operate.
6. Children’s Privacy (COPPA & GDPR Compliance)
Lane Reflex complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Because the App collects no personal data from any user, it does not knowingly collect, use, or disclose personal data from children under the applicable age of consent in any jurisdiction.
7. Direct Inquiries and Communications
If you contact us directly via email for technical support or general feedback, we will use your email address and message contents solely to address your inquiry. We do not use your contact information for promotional purposes or share it with third parties.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy periodically. Any revisions will be updated directly within this document and made available within the App. You are advised to review this policy periodically for any changes.
