Nearly all of the more elaborate theming around the Slinky Dog coaster track has been pared down. What was before a colorful and fun looking atmosphere has been reduced to green grass and a few scattered tinker toys. Gone are large arches made of wooden blocks, a paper airplane, a big plastic shovel, barrel of monkeys, and a large fold-out backdrop at the end of the ride.

Magnum also says riders will see various Toy Story characters around the coaster track including Rex the dinosaur, Jessie, Wheezy, Mr. Spell and Mr. Mike. Rex can be seen in concept art perched atop a falling Jenga tower.

Coaster-wise...look if you're only interested in coasters then Caneva MovieLand or whatever it wants to currently call itself is really not for you. When I first visited in 2011 the park had two creds: Bront'O'Ring, a Go-Gator style kiddie coaster definitely NOT themed to Dino from the Flintstones and Bront'O'Jet, a Schwarzkopf that's been pulled from pillar to post since the early 90s and finally met it's final resting ground in this bizarre park on the shores of Lake Garda (it closed end of last year). Since then the park have also added Diabolik, a Vekoma Invertigo themed to an Italian comic book anti-hero. It's actually not too bad and the theming is kind of cool, if a little cardboard cut-out-y. It actually reminds me a lot of the Toon Lagoon midways at Universal's Islands of Adventure with all the cartoon strip facades. So yh, it has coasters but that's not really why you're here.

Before I dive into the truly mental stuff (eg why you actually WANT to visit this park in the first place) I wanted to quickly talk about the themed 'lands'. Eg, there kind of isn't really any - the park as a whole goes for more of a general 'FILM' theme, and then for some reason there's a random Flintstones rip-off land at the back of the park that I'm sure those with fond memories of Ug Land at Alton Towers would appreciate. The park is small and there's not a lot of space, so instead of restrict themselves by sticking to a more traditional themed land approach they tend to just shove rides where they can and theme each individual ride. It actually works quite well, I didn't hate it at all.

Nagashima Spaland, reputed to be the best amusement park for roller coasters in western Japan, is the main attraction of the resort. The park is filled with over forty rides, ranging from gentle ones suitable for children to outrageous ones for those looking to spend some exhilarating moments. Immediately noticeable even before entering the main gate is the Steel Dragon 2000, a gigantic roller coaster ride which spans the entire length of the park.

To get to the Minack Theatre by bus you need to get off at the bus stop in the car park in the Porthcurno valley, between the former Cable Station Inn and the Telegraph Museum. From there it is about five minutes walk up a steep hill to the Minack - the buses do not go up that hill. At the Porthcurno carpark just opposite the former Cable Station Inn there is an official bus stop with timetables, and from here the bus turns around and goes back the way it came.

The Breckenridge alpine coaster, Gold Runner Coaster, has elevated tracks to thrill you down 2,500 feet of mountainside (here, your car is also fixed to the track). They also have a typical alpine slide that gives you three different tracks to choose from.
