During the March monthly meeting of the Lancaster County Green Party a vote was taken to provide the endorsement of the Timothy Runkle’s race for the 1st Ward seat on Elizabethtown Borough Council. The endorsement was approved with no opposition voiced. Tim is running because he believes that our communities are best when they are peopled powered by those that are committed to the community. He also insists that if we are to grow the Green Party we need to start at the local level and Be Seen Being Green. Tim plans on running a small campaign requiring only 150 votes to win the 1st Ward seat in Elizabethtown.
