Membership Dues
To become an official FBLA member at Lamar County High School, there is a small membership fee:
New Members: $20
Returning Members: $15
Your membership dues help fund our activities, events, and provide you with all the great resources and opportunities FBLA has to offer.

August 17, 2024 -- This past Wednesday, Lamar County FBLA hosted its first meeting of the year, and it was all about fun and fellowship! The kickoff meeting, held in the Business and Technology room, brought together a dynamic group of students eager to connect and enjoy each other's company as they prepare for the year ahead.
Unlike the typical business-focused meetings, this gathering was a relaxed and social event designed to help members bond and build relationships. Students participated in a variety of lighthearted activities, including a creative exercise where they traced a peer to showcase both professional and unprofessional attire. This sparked some fun conversations and laughter as everyone shared their ideas and experiences.
The social vibe continued as members indulged in some delicious ice cream, adding a sweet treat to the mix. It was a perfect way to unwind and enjoy the company of fellow FBLA members in a laid-back setting. The focus was on creating a welcoming environment where everyone could feel comfortable and excited about the upcoming year.
While the meeting was all about fun, it also served as an important opportunity for members to reconnect and get to know each other better. The sense of camaraderie and community was evident, setting the stage for a strong and united chapter in the months to come.
As Lamar County FBLA looks ahead to a year filled with competitions, community service projects, and leadership workshops, this kickoff social was the perfect way to start things off on the right foot. July 21, 2024 -- We are delighted to announce that Daylin Caslin has represented our school with distinction as a Region 12 Officer at the Region Officer Academy (ROA) 24’. This prestigious event brings together aspiring leaders from various regions to hone their leadership skills, foster teamwork, and build lifelong connections.
An Unforgettable Experience with Team Blue
Daylin had the privilege of being part of Team Blue, a diverse group of talented individuals from Regions 9, 10, and 12. The team quickly formed a strong bond, participating in a variety of activities designed to challenge their leadership abilities and promote collaboration. The sense of camaraderie and mutual support within Team Blue was palpable, making the experience not just educational but also incredibly enjoyable.

Following a spirited soccer game the night before, our FBLA members took on the task of cleaning up the aftermath. Armed with trash bags and determination, we diligently cleared away debris left behind, ensuring our soccer field remained pristine and inviting for future matches.

MARCH 23, 2024 -- The Lamar County Chapter of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) has once again distinguished itself as a powerhouse of talent and innovation at the FBLA State Conference 2024 in Atlanta, GA. The conference, held recently, served as a platform for the Lamar County FBLA Chapter to showcase its exceptional skills, commitment, and teamwork.
Among the highlights of the conference, the Lamar County FBLA Chapter proudly received the esteemed Silver Chapter of the Year award. This recognition underscores the relentless dedication and excellence displayed by our members throughout the year.
Abigail Sprayberry and Rianna Murphy, two members of our chapter, demonstrated remarkable process in the field of entrepreneurship by participating in the Sales Presentation category. Their outstanding presentation not only impressed audiences but also underscored the depth of talent within our chapter.
Throughout the conference, Lamar County FBLA members seized every opportunity to network, learn, and collaborate with peers, advisors, and industry professionals. The atmosphere of camaraderie and teamwork was palpable as members supported each other, celebrated successes, and tackled challenges together.

FBLA Poster Competition
Show off your creativity and business savvy at our FBLA Poster Competition! This event is a great way for members to express their ideas and enthusiasm for the Future Business Leaders of America. Participants will create posters that highlight FBLA's mission, goals, and upcoming activities for the school year.
Competition Details:
Theme: Promoting FBLA and its impact
Materials: Participants should bring their own poster boards and supplies. Some basic materials will be available.
Judging Criteria: Creativity, clarity of message, visual appeal, and adherence to the theme.
Prizes: The top three posters will receive special recognition and prizes!
Who Can Participate: All Lamar County HS FBLA members are encouraged to participate.
Note: All posters will be displayed around the school to promote FBLA and our upcoming events.

Gear up for the new school year with our FBLA T-Shirt Preparation event! Join us as we design and prepare our official FBLA t-shirts. This event is a fantastic opportunity for members to collaborate on creating a unique and stylish design that represents our chapter and promotes school spirit.
Event Activities:
Brainstorming and sketching t-shirt designs
Selecting the final design through a group vote
Preparing t-shirts for printing
Socializing and networking with fellow members
