A Platform for Reform. A Voice for the Nation.
This website is a student project inspired by the ideals of La Liga Filipina, the reformist organization founded by Dr. José Rizal in 1892. It was created as a requirement for our subject, The Life and Works of Rizal, and aims to bring his vision of a united, enlightened, and active citizenry into the digital age.
While this site fulfills an academic purpose, it also serves a deeper mission — to educate, engage, and honor. It explores Rizal’s writings, ideals, and the historical significance of La Liga Filipina, while inviting fellow students and readers to reflect on their role in nation-building.
We believe that Rizal’s revolution was not just of arms, but of thought. Through this platform, we echo his belief that the Filipino people, united in purpose, can shape their own destiny.
