NEWBIE GUIDE :: EARNING GOLD AS A NEW PLAYER
A guide for beginners based upon Camp Kindred - Guide for Beginners by Iistless !
This is the Earning Gold guide for new players ! NOT everything is covered in this guide but the 2 most important options are !
It is already a lot of information as it is... if you want to learn more, you can always read the Earning Gold guide in the Expert section of the Newbie Guide !
This guide here is to help you on your way to earn money while playing & learning the game...
PLAY IN PLATINUM
Make sure you play in PLATINUM currency ! (it drops more money than Gold)
You can change your currency type in your account settings (in the left column it says: "Currency Type")
EARN MONEY BY SELLING ITEMS
This is where the money is at for new players !
No matter what Area or Stage you choose to fight in, there will always be items that drop after winning the battle !
Any Kin is good enough to do this, but you might want to pick one of the Good Starter Kins for new players.
EARLY - MID Game
While leveling up your Kin you will earn items from the Battle Drops:
Gold/Platinum
Potions
Amulets
Items that are known as Capsules
Items that are known as RIGs (found inside the Capsules)
Selling these Capsules or RIGs is your best way to earn money as a new player !
RIG stands for Random Item Generator (a sort of Lootbox if you will)
These RIGs often contain a few expensive items but the chances of getting one from opening up a RIG is low
As a new player you can either open the RIGs in hope of getting a valuable item or sell them on the Marketplace
Put them up at the lowest "Buy Now" price or slightly lower to have a quick sell

(Gaia sometimes changes these things, so data might be off)
EARN MONEY BY DEFEATING SYCAMORTE
This is where the big money is at !
And should be your goal to work towards while leveling up your Kin and earning money by selling items !
MID - LATE Game
Sycamorte is a BOSS Kin that is found in the Kindred Wilds Stage 4 and Stage 5
Sycamorte looks like a Tree, so if you ever hear of Tree Killing, this is it !
Sycamorte very often drops Gold/Platinum as Battle Drop (Platinum currency drops higher amounts of money)
Kin that can defeat this boss are referred to as Tree Killers
Stage 4 Sycamorte are weaker than the Stage 5 Sycamorte
For Stage 4 Sycamorte your Kin should be at least around level 35+
For Stage 5 Sycamorte your Kin should be at level 50
IMPORTANT NOTES:
Selling items (RIGs) will get you around the same amount of money in about the same amount of time playing !
The only downside with RIGs is that you also have to spend time putting them for sale on the Marketplace, so there is a little bit more work involved in my opinion.
Some people prefer RIG farming because they like opening up the RIGs in hopes of getting a valuable item !
PERSONAL ADVICE:
Before you start fighting Sycamorte and becoming a Tree Killer yourself, I advice you to check the Newbie Guide's Expert part: Tree Killing
However you might just want to learn the game more before going there...
