A guide for beginners based upon Camp Kindred - Guide for Beginners by Iistless !
IMPORTANT NOTES:
Equipping an Amulet to your Kin makes it Soulbound (= unable to sell or trade) !
The game is sometimes bugged & can make (equipped) Amulets invisible !
Click on the Kin, then the Amulet slot and see if it gets bonuses.
If it does it means it has an Amulet equipped in that slot !
To Unsoulbind a Kin, you have to remove all the equipped Amulets ! (your 1st Starter Kin cannot be Unsoulbound)
Kin can equip Amulets for added buffs (extra experience, health, damage, gold found, etc...)
The type of Amulets they can equip depend on their Sockets, which are randomly generated per Kin
Your Kin can have 1, 2 or 3 sockets
Each socket can be either circle, diamond or square (the Amulets have the same shapes)
Click here for a more detailed guide on Kin Sockets
(and how to get the sockets you want)
All Amulets can offer an Experience bonus, but certain shapes give certain exclusive bonuses:
Circle = Health (capacity), Resistance or Experience boost
Diamond = Gold Find, Stamina (capacity) or Stamina Regeneration boost
Square = Damage, Accuracy or Magic Points (capacity) boost
Experience amulets give bonus experience for defeating an enemy of a certain Element type
GREEN Amulets
Regular Amulets
Have 1-4% bonuses on their respective attributes
RED Amulets
Rare Amulets
Have 4-7% bonuses on their respective attributes
WHITE Amulets
Legendary Amulets
Have 7-10% bonuses on their respective unique attributes
Have 20-30% bonuses on their respective "Experience vs Element Type" boost attributes
You can find Amulets as Battle Drops
Buy them in the Marketplace
Sometimes available in the Cash Shop
You can craft Amulets in Alchemy
Bonuses are calculated by multiplying the base stat by the bonus percentage. Decimals are rounded down.
Example:
Base Accuracy = 90%
Amulet #1 boost = +6%
Amulet #2 boost = +4%
Base + Base * Total Amulet boost = New Total
90 + 90 * (6 + 4) = 99%
Go to the My Kins Menu > click on a Kin > click on the Equip Items tab
If it says "This Kin's sockets haven't been revealed yet", it means their sockets haven't been generated yet, and you can click "Reveal" to generate them
Here the Kin has 3 sockets:
1x Circle socket
2x Square socket
Click on a socket to equip an Amulet
The Amulet type must be the same as the Socket type
(a circle Amulet in a circle socket & a square Amulet in a square socket)
You can equip an Amulet for free
It costs gold to unequip an Amulet depending on its rarity !
