I grew up in Southern California, playing in the orange groves with Disneyland as my playground. After meeting my soulmate Caren, we moved north to Santa Cruz, to raise our kids and relocate our business. Out of the blue, we ventured to north Texas for a summer visit that turned into working for one of the largest school districts in Texas for 12 years! Then on February 8, 2019, during Seattle’s biggest snowstorm, our lives changed forever when our granddaughter Virginia was born (a surprise to everyone, even to her parents!) Without hesitation, Caren and I both retired and headed for the PNW. She is our little sunshine on all these cloudy days, and we wouldn’t be anywhere else in this world. Steve@lbehoa.net
I grew up in Snohomish County and planted my own roots here, making LBE my home in 2013. I've worked in the non-profit Social Services field for 23 years and am passionate about helping people and communities thrive. One cornerstone of my belief system is that all people and communities are their own best resource; community is about growing and pooling those resources. I became a "Grammie" in 2015 and again in 2018. One of my favorite things to do is take my grandchildren on a day tour of MLT parks! amy@lbehoa.net
Dave, our newest member of the board, is a northwest native. Born and
raised in south Seattle, Dave went to school in the Highline District then
graduated from Highline College with a degree in Business and then a BA
in Economics at the University of Washington (go dogs). After college he
went into the marine industry and eventually moved into IT as a help desk
and desktop support technician. Dave is an avid competitive sailor and
enjoys other outdoor activities. Dave and his wife Sandy Fox have been
owners of their condo here for about 11 years.
I grew up Mount Vernon WA surrounded by the tulip fields where the Tulip Festival is held. Mom still lives on the farm. I have lived at LBE in Bldg B 106 since October 2005 and love it. Moved here for the location and the view!! Recently retired after many years as the National Sales Manager for a Cracker and Cheese company based in England. In my spare time, my hobbies include traveling, reading, sewing, and now that I have time - some gardening. Janet@lbehoa.net
My wife and I have always been interested in making our communities better. Historically, we have done this through service projects and working relationships with local partners through our local church. We view an opportunity to participate on the board as the perfect way to serve this community. My interest is to help our community flourish for everyone who chooses to call Lake Ballinger Estates home. Kevin@lbehoa.net
