The Lake Francis Village Condominium Association (LFVCA) is seeking volunteers to serve on the Board of Directors (BOD).
Serving on the BOD is not for the faint of heart. It requires reviewing financial information, discussing repairs and priorities, listening to member concerns, and helping make difficult decisions. At times, it can be stressful and demanding. However, it also provides the opportunity to better understand the association’s challenges and to directly contribute toward solutions and improvements.
Board members frequently engage with members who are understandably angry. These conversations are not always easy, but transparency and understanding are essential if the community is going to move forward.
The community benefits from additional perspectives, constructive discussion, and owners willing to participate in the difficult work required to stabilize and strengthen the association.
If you care about the future of the community and are willing to help, I encourage you to consider becoming involved.

Updated Insurance Documentation Available
Updated Insurance Documentation Available
The Lake Francis Village Condominium Association (LFVCA) has renewed and updated the community's insurance coverage. A current Certification of Insurance (COI) document is now available in the Member Portal. Click on the "Documents" menu item, then open the "LFR Insurance Policies" folder. The new COI is titled "LFR COI 2025-2026 UPDATED 1-2026.pdf."
The Board of Directors (BOD) has made every effort to ensure coverage meets the criteria set by Fannie Mae so that units can be purchased and/or refinanced via conventional loan.

Join the Repair & Maintenance Committee
The Lake Francis Village Condominium Association (LFVCA) is seeking volunteers for its new Repair & Maintenance Committee. Members will be responsible for facilitating exterior repair and maintenance projects by meeting with owners, pursuing estimates with approved vendors, and inspecting work.
Volunteers will be providing an essential service to our community. A full description of the Repair & Maintenance Committee's function plus responsibilities of members is available for review.

We welcome all difficult questions regarding the association's financial condition, protocols for prioritizing exterior repairs, management processes, and any other topic related to LFVCA operations. Questions and responses will be published and remain accessible in a permanent website section (with all personal identifying details omitted, of course).

The Lake Francis Village Condominium Association (LFVCA) Board of Directors (BOD) is seeking owners with any special knowledge or experience who can be called upon for advice as we go about the business of managing our association in the best interest of the entire community. All areas of expertise are welcome - finance and accounting, insurance, commercial real estate, member services, communications, and, of course, any of the trades! Those willing to provide their insight to the BOD are encouraged to drop a note to LFVCA President Jennifer Knapp.
