The Los Angeles Emergency Communications Team (LAECT) is a group of amateur radio operators dedicated to provide high quality radio communications to served agencies in times of disaster. We provide radio training for anyone interested such as fire departments, community groups, and anyone interested in Amateur Radio. Examples of our training sessions include ham cram licensing sessions, hands-on amateur radio basic and advanced topics, and training in digital modes, such as email over radio.
