I can’t seem to think

My mind is too clouded

Trying to please too many people

The favors get louder

I need a place to settle

One calm and serene

A place where I can focus

On more than just the scene

I haven’t gotten there yet

It takes a little time and patience

To have that little piece of heaven

Oh, it would be so worth it

Until then,

I’ll learn a little at a time

To take care of myself

And to not put myself in a bind
