Go Kavemen!!
Coach Cody Gustin is thrilled to begin his second year as an assistant coach with Kuna Girls Basketball and his 23rd year coaching youth sports in the valley. Cody grew up in Boise and graduated from Borah High School in 1992. While at Borah, he lettered in four sports and was a 1st-team All-Conference player, earning All-State honors in both basketball and Football. He was named the 1992 Male Athlete of the Year at Borah.
Coming from a long line of successful and highly decorated high school and collegiate athletes in his family, Coach Gustin garnered a true love of competition and coaching all sports (boys and girls).
After returning home from a two-year church service mission, Coach Gustin decided to forgo collegiate sports opportunities in basketball/football, instead focusing on his dream of starting a family (marrying his high school sweetheart, Heidi) and pursuing a B.A. in Business Management from his beloved Boise State University.
For the past 24 years, Coach Gustin has worked locally as a Senior Vice President at a large insurance consulting firm in Meridian, Moreton and Co. You will find Coach Gustin and Heidi supporting and attending other Kuna High School sporting events or pursuing countless outdoor recreational opporunities in Alaska or Idaho. #GoKavemen
