It is located in the Himalayas of Ladakh at a remote location from  Leh City. It is at a distance of approximately 73 Kms from Leh City. The Ladakh Model High School is just below the Gia Gonpa and a small stream bifurcates it with the National Highway NH3. The School has a total strength of 64 students, Boys=32 and Girls=32.The School is striving for excellence as it dedicated Headmaster,staffs and SMC are working day and night for the progress of the School. The school has won  many awards in many events organized by D.I.E.T  and Government Agencies.The past percentage of 10th Class last year was 100%.This year too we are striving hard to maintain the 10th Board results.
