Dear Delegates,
My name is Isabella Huang and I am thrilled to be your chair for the DISEC at LABMUNC this year. I’m a senior here at The University of Chicago Laboratory School, and this is my fourth year involved in Model UN, and I am so excited to be in this position! Outside of Model UN, I am a member of the volleyball team, actively participate in various art activities, and passionately dedicate my time to volunteering at my local food pantry, where I strive to make a meaningful impact in my community. This committee is incredibly important to me because it addresses a multitude of real-time issues and plays a significant role on the international stage, particularly in dealing with fundamental human rights concerns. Throughout this committee, I hope all delegates will engage in diplomatic discussions, actively collaborate with a diverse group of students, and contribute innovative ideas. Most importantly, I hope you all will have fun!
Best,
Isabella Huang
