Performance Artist | DJ | Cultural Instigator
Isabel Reyes (aka LABellatini) is a multidisciplinary performance artist whose work blurs the lines between music, movement, memory, and collective ritual. With roots in casting and film production and branches extending deep into DJ culture and live event curation, Isabel approaches each set, stage, and space as an act of transformation — sound as ceremony, community as canvas.
A Los Angeles native, her creative practice is steeped in rhythm, rebellion, and reimagining. Whether behind the decks or curating immersive performances, she uses her deep cultural fluency and intuitive sense of tone to craft moments that are both grounded and elevated. Think soul-shaking basslines, ancestral echoes, and an unapologetically femme frequency that invites people to feel more — not less.
She’s the founding force behind Friends Over Followers, a collective and incubator activating LA’s raw creative talent across disciplines — from tattoo artists to fine artists, filmmakers to dancers. Through this platform, Isabel builds worlds where artists are supported and community is the headliner.
Isabel’s performances often straddle the line between dancefloor and altar. She’s DJed for the Women’s March (five years running), Nike, Netflix, and LA County Parks — but she’s just as likely to turn a warehouse, art walk, or neighborhood park into a pop-up portal of joy, resistance, and release.
For her, performance is protest, and gathering is sacred and currently sharing her energy as the Showcase Producer for Western Arts Alliance.
In addition to all things production, LABellatini is currently available to speak at conferences, panels, workshops, and cultural events. With nearly three decades of experience in casting, production, DJing, and creative community-building, she offers a unique lens into the intersection of storytelling, performance, and public space.
