Description:

LEAD is an annual event designed with the entire family in mind. Although we will provide backpacks or teacher care packs to all who attend, we are focused on empowering every member of the family through interactive stations that will provide information that will encourage you to learn more about subject matters that are crucial of development.

Mission:

LEAD’s mission is simple: Knowledge and Exposure. Nature vs. Nurture tells how a child’s development can stem from genetic variations but can be changed with nurturing techniques. No matter where a person comes from nor the conditions he or she was born in if that individual can be exposed to various opportunities for growth and success it will foster the will to want to do better and to learn more.

Expected Outcome:

We aim to spark a fire that encourages families to have more dialog at home about diverse career paths and steps to be taken to achieve their goal. We look forward to providing a networking opportunity that not only impacts the attendees, but the vendors and volunteers as well. We hope to plant a seed in the minds of all who attend that will flourish into great opportunities and success.
