KEITH KOGANE

v; leader of voltron. -- age(s) 19-20 ; 21-24 (after the time with his mom on the space whale). Takes place both during S3 and S6-7. Keith has been accepted by the Black Lion to be the leader of Voltron after Shiro's sudden disappearance, and he is not happy about it at first. He constantly makes decisions that are reckless and put the team in harm's way, especially when confronting Zarkon's son Lotor, who at this time is the emperor pro-tem of the Galra Empire. After the Thayserix incident, he takes this role a little more seriously, but during another mission, due to conflicts with Shiro, Keith and the team mess up and Lotor gets away with a trans-reality comet that he'd crafted into the Sincline ships in order to pierce the veil between realities. He realizes shortly after that Shiro should be the one leading the team. After meeting his mother Krolia and while on a mission to discover the quintessence that Ranveig took and experimented with, he comes across an Altean, Romelle. Discovering that Lotor was lying to all of them and was only using Allura to gain access to unlimited amounts of quintessence, Keith, his mother, Romelle, and a cosmic wolf that he'd rescued while traveling through the abyss make it back to the Castle of Lions in an old Altean shuttle pod to warn the others. It's soon after that "Shiro" goes rogue and attacks the team, and Keith follows him into a wormhole, discovering that the Galra have created dozens of clones of his best friend. He and "Shiro" engage in a fight, and it's during this that Keith uses his bayard to sever his best friend's arm, in turn severing the mind control from the Galra. Being saved by the Black Lion and discovering that Shiro's spirit has been residing in her consciousness makes Keith more determined than ever to help defeat Lotor and save his team, and with Shiro's help, he does. After Lotor's defeat and the destruction of the Castle, the team travels back to Earth... only to discover that it's been taken over by the Galra.

v; blade agent. -- age(s) 19-21. Takes place during S4-6. Keith is adjusting to life as a Blade member. His attempts to save other members of the Blade has more often than not risked both his and the other's life, as well as the success of the mission, and has gotten him more than a few lectures by his leader Kolivan. The Blades help the Voltron Coalition by rallying planets and convincing them to join the fight against the Galra. Most planet inhabitants were untrusting due to most of the Blades looking like Galra themselves, but once Keith joined, the citizens have been more trustworthy. Being a Blade is daunting, and it takes up more time than usual for Keith, seeing as he is new to the group. He's also pulling away from being the leader of Voltron, as they had found Shiro and he believes that he's the right one to lead the team. He later meets his biological mother, Krolia, and they bond while traveling through the quantum abyss, learning so much about her through flashbacks, the most important... that she didn't abandon him.

v; red paladin. -- age(s) 18-19. Takes place during S1-2. Keith is the Red Paladin of Voltron, and is loving on his lion as well as warming up to his teammates. He often sticks close to Shiro, as he feels most comfortable with him, but he's learning to trust the others slowly but surely. He's often found in the hangar or in the training room, sparring with the gladiator bot or talking with Red and learning more about her. He has a crush on Shiro, but hides it because he feels that Shiro will reject him. He's met many species like the Olkari and the Arusians. He has yet to find out anything useful about where he came from or who his family is, but he's content with his found family for now, vowing that once they defeat Zarkon, he'll look for his mother.

v; garrison soldier. -- age(s) 16-18. Takes place before the events of Voltron and the Kerberos launch. Keith got accepted into the Galaxy Garrison, and is now a dedicated ace pilot looking to get his license. He has a gigantic crush on Takashi Shirogane, one of the senior officers, but he'll never let anyone know, and he's constantly at odds with fellow cadet James Griffin, much to the annoyance of commander Mitch Iverson. He's also a troublemaker, often staying out late after lights out and visiting his shack to store collectibles from the Garrison. He does upgrades on his hover cruiser and takes late night drives, camping out more often than not rather than choosing to stay at the base.

v; android. -- age unknown. Test subject 23554067 was a success. All other subjects malfunctioned, but this one... he was beyond perfect. He was a servant to the Galra Empire, but was soon left deactivated on a lone planet. He became an immediate asset to Team Voltron when they had found him, as he had begun to develop emotions, and according to the Galra, any sentient robot that begins to feel can quickly learn to rebel against the Empire, so they must be rid of it immediately before it plans to take them down from the inside. He is now the Red Lion's paladin, having replaced Allura so that she could pilot the Castle. He has forged a strong bond with the others over them teaching him about planets and other stuff that he wouldn't have been able to discover had the Galra decided to keep him as their servant. He still has a lot to learn, but his AI is quickly updating with lots of useful information from the team as well as Allura and Coran.

v; doll. -- age unknown. The first ever sentient, feeling, emotional doll - no one thought it could be possible... until Keith arrived. Nobody knew who created him; there was no label stamped on him, no copyright symbol tattooed anywhere - it seemed as if he appeared out of thin air. striking porcelain violet eyes, specially rooted silky raven hair, vinyl skin as soft as a feather, delicately jointed limbs; whoever created him must have put a lot of thought and time into their creation.

v; possessed. -- age 21. There's been something odd going on with Keith lately, and everybody who knows him has noticed... he's not himself. He's a lot more easily aggravated than usual, he looks like he hasn't slept in months, and there have been mysterious bruises appearing on his skin that weren't there before. He's also been speaking Latin at random times, a language that he doesn't know at all by tongue. One can also hear him at night thrashing around, yelling at something or someone to leave him alone.

v; ghost. -- age 19. Dying alone - not the best way to go out. Keith had suffered from a stress-induced heart attack one night shortly after the Kerberos mission was falsely deemed 'pilot error', which unfortunately ended his life, and nobody had found him until much later when some scavengers stumbled upon the decomposing corpse of the 19-year-old young man and promptly buried him outside the shack out of respect. Keith's spirit, however, never left. It was attached to the shack because it was his home, where he was born, and he was restless after not knowing what happened to Shiro, his best friend and confidant, while on the Kerberos mission. He scares away guests and possible homeowners from purchasing the property he's known for his whole life.

v; paranormal investigator. -- age 21. Keith Kogane - a not-so-well-known investigator. What does he investigate? The paranormal. Proof of spirits, demons, ghosts, apparitions, that sort of thing. Every day as a paranormal investigator is dangerous, and Keith loves it. The thrill of going into lockdown, the suspense of something otherworldly communicating via EVP, the shock of discovering something that was unexpected. Keith is always looking for life beyond the grave, and he's not planning on stopping anytime soon.

v; life is strange. -- age(s) 15-18. Keith Kogane was born to a devoted father and mother who swore to protect him. However, after his mother was killed in a car wreck, Keith was very prone to anger outbursts, which landed him in a juvenile detention center when he was 16 after he lost his temper over a failing grade in Physics and caused quite a bit of damage in his wrath. The juvenile officer who was assigned to Keith suggested that maybe he was acting out because he was too familiar with the Phoenix, Arizona atmosphere, and he decided that the young man should move to Oregon, suggesting to his dad that Arcadia Bay would be a good change for the both of them after what happened. It was after arriving at Arcadia Bay and visiting a couple of local places that Landon met Michelle Atkins, a pretty and polite Southern young lady who captured Keith's father's heart the moment he laid eyes on her. Landon and Michelle hit it off straight away, and a couple months into their relationship, they were hitched. Keith resented his father immensely after the marriage because he felt that his father was getting over his birth mother too quickly. What Landon didn't know about his new wife that Keith soon figured out upon accidental discovery was that Michelle was a drug addict. When Landon accused Keith of trying to sabotage his stepmother after the young man showed his father the drugs, Keith knew that their father-son relationship was damaged. He moved into the dorms of Blackwell Academy, only going home occasionally to pack his stuff. It was there that he met Chloe Price and Rachel Amber, who he developed a quick bond with.

v; grand theft auto -- age(s) 16-21. Keith is a reckless young man who was kicked out of his last foster home due to drug accusations by his foster sister who loathed him and wanted him gone the moment he stepped into the house. After accusations of bringing meth and heroin into their household as well as his sister outing him as homosexual, his extremely Christian foster parents wasted no time getting his things packed and throwing it--and him--out of their home. He has been scouring the streets of Los Santos, San Andreas, getting into fights with gangsters and drug dealers by day and vandalizing cars and homes to sleep in by night. Just before he thought his life could go anymore downhill, he was taken in by Michael De Santa, Trevor Phillips, and Franklin Clinton, a triad of heist coordinators as well as three people with marital, gang, and drug problems. He told of his upbringing in the foster care system, as well as his hidden problem with alcohol, which he's had to smuggle into his foster homes as well as create a fake ID card for because he was underage in the city. He gets the hang of going on heists and various other missions, proving himself useful in just three assignments by being their bladesman and lookout for any police or rival heist members.

v; the walking dead. -- age(s) 17-21. Keith is a lone survivor of the zombie outbreak who had to kill both his father and mother when they got infected. He had no trouble killing his father, but his mom was the hardest to have to shoot. He got separated from his friends during the start of the apocalypse and has been searching for them since. He doesn't know if they're dead or if they got turned, but he won't give up. Keith keeps both a blade and gun on him at all times for killing any walkers he comes across. He has become very skilled in construction and utilizing simple tools for scarce items.
