Hi, I am a Ph.D. student in Architecture at Yonsei University and currently a visiting student at MIT Senseable City Lab.
My research explores the intersection of architecture, urban space, and human experience through data-driven and AI-based approaches. I investigate how the built environment shapes human behavior and emotion, generating quantitative insights for human-centered urban and architectural design.
Research Topics
• Relationship between the built environment and people
• Data-driven urban and architectural design
Research Approaches
• Visual AI: Computer Vision, Street-View Imagery, Video footage, VLM
• Data Science: Machine learning, Deep learning, Statistics
• Spatial Analysis: GIS, Space syntax, Agent-based modeling
• Data-driven design: Optimization, Pareto analysis, Grasshopper, Rhino
