In this workshop, we will discuss the latest results of field theory and string theory brought by researchers working on profound problems in these subjects from various perspectives. Topics we are interested in include: scattering amplitudes in gauge theory and string theory, methods in CFT, integrability in AdS/CFT, holographic duality, lower dimensional gravity and black holes, strong interactions and nonperturbative methods, weak gravity conjecture.
This workshop will be held as a part of research cooperation between Kyoto University and National Taiwan University (NTU). In addition, it also aims to promote scientific exchanges between academic institutions in Asia, including Kyoto University, NTU, Institute of Theoretical Physics - Chinese Academy of Sciences (ITP-CAS), and National Center for Theoretical Sciences (NCTS).
