VIDEO（1分54秒・1440x1080pixel）と展示（煙草、蝋燭）
手に負えない大きな情動に駆られた時に私は、自分はモノだと、あらゆる事件は現象に過ぎないと、暗示をかける癖がある。返ってモノの方が饒舌な時があるのだ。
今作では、蝋燭と、燃えかけの煙草が、一つの塊となってゆく光景を描いた。
何もない暗闇、蝋燭、煙草、炎の動き、それらは何を代弁してくれたのか。説明を組み上げることはできるが、吐き出した時の 感情は言葉にできない。
あなたの心に、このような語り口を必要としている感情はあるだろうか？ もしあるのなら、代弁してくれるのはどのようなモノだろうか。どのような現象だろうか。

When overwhelmed by uncontrollable emotions, I have a habit of hypnotizing myself—telling myself that I am merely an object, and that all events are nothing more than phenomena. Sometimes, objects speak more eloquently than I do.
In this work, I depicted the scene of a candle and a smoldering cigarette gradually fusing into a single entity.
In the emptiness of darkness—the candle, the cigarette, the movement of the flame—what did these things speak on my behalf?
I can assemble an explanation, but the feeling I exhaled at the time resists language.
Is there an emotion within you that requires such a manner of expression?
If so, what kind of object might speak for it? What kind of phenomenon?
