Chinese Opera

The "Chow Sue Kong Shrine" in Talad Noi is holding the Chinese Opera during the period of the Vegetarian Festival.   This event is a significant cultural and religious event, often part of the celebrations during the Vegetarian Festival in Thailand, especially in areas with large Thai-Chinese communities.

The Chow Sue Kong Shrine, a historic and important religious site for the local Chinese-Hokkien community, is one of the key venues for these opera performances. These performances are not only a form of entertainment but also a spiritual offering. They are typically performed to honor the deities, especially during important festivals like the Vegetarian Festival, and are considered an act of devotion. 

However neighborhood are kindly welcome foreigner and photographers are permited to visit the backstage during show preparition time if they are respecfully visit.
