Welcome!

My name is Kyle Pittman, and I am a graduate teaching assistant in the Department of Earth, Atmosphere and Environment at Northern Illinois University.

My research interests are related to severe convective storms (especially supercell thunderstorms) as well as climate change. My career goals are in academia; teaching at the university level, and conducting research on my interests (such as environments favorable for supercells and tornadoes, modeling the impacts of climate change on supercells and tornadoes, and understanding the societal impacts from severe convective hazards).

Thanks for visiting, and please contact me if you have any questions or are interested in collaborating!

Information about research projects/groups I have been involved with.

My favorite storm chasing photos dating back to 2011.
