How can we build student agency in secondary mathematics?
For my master's project, I spent two years collecting data and having weekly conversations about student agency with four amazing High Tech High math teachers. We dug into student mindsets, beliefs, and a deep desire for relevance in math curriculum.

In my 3rd year of teaching 12th grade math at HTHCV, Caroline Chen and I built a personal finance project that culminated with two exhibitions of learning and a lot of really positive student experiences.
These two documents work in tandem to help others pull off our project.
