Kylee Kincer is a writer and video editor based in New York City with a passion for children’s programming, animation, and trailers. She is a 2025 Fred Rogers Writers’ Neighborhood Fellow and currently works as an editorial assistant at Paramount+. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Film and Television at NYU Tisch School of the Arts, focusing on screenwriting and video editing. During her time there, Kylee wrote the children’s pilot AP Survival, which has been accepted into Atlanta Children’s Film Festival and KIDS FIRST. Kylee was previously an editing intern for various companies including BritBox and Wheelhouse Creative, where she cut trailers and other promotional content. In addition to her writing and editing work, she was part of the Local 817 x MediaMKRS inaugural cohort of casting assistant trainees.
Through her writing, Kylee aims to introduce children to topics that are not often covered in kids’ media such as mental health and academic pressure and include characters from underrepresented communities. Above all, she hopes her work will entertain and inspire kids to write their own stories.
