I'm broadly interested in observation and exoplanets. I work with Professor Meredith MacGregor on studying flares of planet-hosting stars and the dynamics of protoplanetary disks.
I graduated from The Ohio State University with an MS in astronomy, where I worked with Professor Scott Gaudi on the Roman Space Telescope's survey of transiting planets, focusing on orbital decay and survey optimization. We published a paper estimating Roman's prospects for detecting decaying exoplanets.
Originally from Georgia, I graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a BS in physics and minors in astronomy and history. I lived in Random Hall and did research projects in several fields, from the biology of aging to follow-up observations of exoplanet candidates from TESS.
I enjoy visiting art museums (especially to see Fabergé eggs), riding my bike around Baltimore, hanging out with my cat Piccadilly, and foraging in the woods.
