Adults are unaware of when it happens
The best way to allow the adults to become aware of when drownings are happening is to alert them.
This can be done through an alarm that can detect the drowning and tell the adult.
The circuit will fail to work if contact is made with water
I could use a 3d printed box to cover it
A regular microphone performs worse underwater
I could use a hydrophone, which is designed for the same function, but underwater
Differentiating between which swimmer is struggling
