Details:

This program offers up to a $100 reimbursement per household for establishing, enhancing, restoring and/or maintaining pollinator habitats.

Applications will be accepted March 1, 2019 until funds run out on a first come first served basis.

Anyone living in Fayette County is eligible to apply.

Possible project ideas:

Milkweed for Monarch breeding site.

Planting of other native species that support pollinators.

Backyard butterfly garden.

Bee friendly wildflowers.

Artificial nest sites (bee boxes or bat houses).

Equipment necessary for completion of project.
