Dead Animal Removal
This program was developed in 2012 to solve the issue of disease and contamination coming from decomposing animal carcasses left near bodies of water. The Fayette County Conservation District will reimburse up to $60.00 for the removal of dead livestock by a certified state company, and up to $35.00 for self delivery to an appropriate site facility. This offer does not extend to diagnostic lab deliveries, and all arrangements for livestock removal must be made by you, the landowner.
To qualify, you must file your rebate within two months from date on your invoice as well as turn in your original receipt. Contact Heather Noland at 859-233-0194 extension 3 for more information.
