Background:

There are so many quotes being shared today on social media. I wanted to make one of my own that was effective at getting across the intended message.

Design:

Each social media site has it's own unique ratio to the image shapes displayed. I made the image for Facebook's current display algorithm.

Proximity: I aimed to put the text about counting blessing near the center of the sky to make the message stand out.

Alignment: The text is left aligned with the row of people. The attribution is right aligned at the right edge of the people.

Repetition: The lighter font color is repeated from "Count Your Blessings" to the attribution. The color is taken from the lightest of the clouds in the image.

Contrast: The line "Counting our Blessings" is both lighter andmore ornamented to help it stand out.

Font: I chose Dancing Script to make the message personal and obviously a quote.

Photoshop Skills Used:

• Font spacing adjustment: Used on the largest font to tighten the spacing.

• Layer Effects: used on the text.
