Hi! I'm Katherine Williams Booth. Starting in Fall of 2026, I will be a Dickson Instructor and NSF postdoc at the University of Chicago. I received my PhD in 2025 from Georgia Tech under the advisement of Dan Margalit. My areas of interest at the moment are fine curve graphs, geometric group theory, and dynamics.
Previously, I was a postdoc at Vanderbilt University. I have also been a tenure-track instructor at Georgia Highlands College and an adjunct instructor at Butler Community College in Kansas. I have a Master's degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
