Work is Worship
Semester : 5
Code : REC02
Objective : To introduce students to the basic tools required to build and analyze probabilistic models
Course outcomes : Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to:
CO1: Apply the knowledge of basics of probability and random variable theory to solve problems in communication systems.
CO2: Identify various parameters that describe important features of a random variable and use them to analyze randomness in data
CO3: Perform computations and model random phenomena using pairs of random variables
CO4: Develop matrix notation to represent and analyze multidimensional random variables
CO5: Identify mathematical tool to characterize various random processes such as Markov, Gaussian, Poisson etc.
