Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia (EGBC)

Formerly known as APEGBC, as a member of Engineers and Geoscientists BC, i represent the highest standards of academic knowledge, work experience, and professionalism in Canada. I also participate in EGBC networking events as well as apply for funding and student group grants for University related projects.

Canadian Society for Mechanical Engineering (CSME)

CSME is a is a constituent society of the Engineering Institute of Canada (EIC). CSME provides a wide range of professional development activities for mechanical engineers and students with common fields of interest; these activities, which include networking as well as technical exchange occasions, are generally in the form of conferences, meetings, lectures, seminars, tours, etc.

SFU Arduino Club is an open, inclusive and multidisciplinary group that collaborates on innovative solutions to real world problems using new technology. We work with different development boards and software to create fully functioning and robust products. In the process we share knowledge, skills, hardware, and tools openly.

SFU IEEE Micro Processor Group (MPG) Embedded Systems Group

MPG is an extracurricular embedded systems group offered by Engenuics across universities in Canada. MPG focuses on learning how to implement and use low level peripheral drivers for Embedded Systems. With less abstraction from software, such as an Operating System, MPG participants in SFU, learn the fundamentals of how to develop drivers for Embedded Microcontrollers, industrial standard protocols, such as USB, SPI, I2C, I2S, CAN among others.
