I am a Fifth-year Integrated Master's student of Mathematics and Computing at IIT Kharagpur. I am interested in Bayesian Inference, Computational Statistics and Optimization Problems arising in Probabilistic Modelling and Statistics.
I did a research internship under the guidance of Prof. Aaron Smith at the University of Ottawa, which was funded by the SRSF grant offered by the Shastri Indo Canadian Institute. In the fall of 2021, I had a brief stint at Axis Bank as a Business Intelligence Analyst, post-which, I decided to head for my Master's in Statistics at the University of Alberta.
I have been working as an MITACS Accelerate Intern with FastTrack Technologies in improving their exam generation service with Distributional Neural Networks. For my thesis research, I usually spend time to
Figure out efficient sampling schemes for Long Range Dependent processes.
Implementing (using Python and Julia) probabilistic filters and smoothers for continuous time graphical models.
