I am a Research Manager at the AI & the Digital Economy Lab, HEC Lausanne, University of Lausanne, and a Research Associate & Lecturer at the Faculty of Business and Economics, University of Basel. At Basel, I also teach an advanced Master's course on Banking and Fintech.

Since Oct 2025 I have been serving as a Technical Advisor in the Monetary and Economic Department at the Bank for International Settlements.

My research addresses questions at the intersection of data, technology, and finance.

I received my PhD in Economics from the University of Basel in October 2020. Earlier, I worked as an Economist at the Reserve Bank of India (2010–2014).
