Driven by the philosophy of ‘learning through experimentation,’ I am a roboticist and a dedicated engineer.
Currently pursuing my doctorate at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, Robotics Research Centre, Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (MAE).
Completed my master's from the Centre for Systems and Control (SysCon) at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay.
More than 3 years of R&D and academic experience at the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) Department, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay.
Completed my bachelor's in Electronics Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
Observer design using haptic feedback for Robotic Manipulators.
Motivation-
Manipulation tasks that are simple for humans are still fundamentally hard for robots.
Learning-based methods have shown to be effective for a single or similar tasks. If humans can perform so many manipulation tasks dexterously, why can't we program robots to do the same?
Non-smooth mechanics of contact poses an interesting problem for developing control methods.
