Updates on Statistics for 2022
As of 2022: Hispanic, Black, and Indigenous people are:
Twice as likely to die from COVID-19 as their White counterparts
One and a half times greater risk of COVID-19 infection than White people.
The death rates remained the highest for Indigenous people.
Many factors contribute to health and economic disparities and much work to do to help mitigate these effects on the lives of marginalized folks.
