As a teacher, I believe that everyone has ability to learn and grow. My role in the classroom is to facilitate students and help them develop a love of learning so they become life long learners. I hope to instill a growth mindset in my students by being open to feedback and learning from failures. I am passionate about providing students with support and guidance as they learn the tools to think critically and make an positive impact on the world around them.
This site that I've created is an example of how I've embraced the COVA model in my own educational journey. I choose the platform in which to visualize my learning on the path to becoming a leader in educational technology. My voice is heard in my ideas and steps in creating a growth mindset as well as my view on professional learning networks. I take ownership in my experience as I relay what I've learned to an authentic audience.
