Welcome to Hectanooga Nova Scotia home to K's Wooly Loft Rug Hooking Studio, owned and operated by Katherine Dawson. Hectanooga is a small Hamlet in the country located inland on the South West Shore.

I fell in love with the art of Rug Hooking and found it difficult at times to find the right colour for certain projects so I decided to learn how to dye wool & yarn for myself. One thing led to another and before I knew it I was opening a Studio.

I sell hand dyed wool, yarn, patterns, frames, hooks, binding, linen etc.

Can't find that certain colour? Custom dying is available.
