Kansas School Counselor Association
Welcome to the official website for the Kansas School Counselor Association!
Whether you are visiting as a KSCA professional member, a graduate student, a fellow educator, or one of our many stakeholders in comprehensive school counseling programs, we hope that you will find information and resources to assist you in our common goal to support the academic, career, and social-emotional development of each student in our state.
As the professional association for school counselors in Kansas, we understand that our role is uniquely designed to provide both preventive and developmental instruction, support, and services within an educational setting. Through the management and delivery of school counseling core curriculum, individual student planning, and responsive services, our programs focus on both student and professional competencies developed for and within our schools. We use data to show the impact of our programs on student achievement, attendance, and behavior and to guide future action and improve results for all students.
Thank you for visiting the site to learn more about our profession. We value your feedback and the opportunity to work closely with individuals or organizations that promote student achievement. There are many exciting opportunities ahead to grow through our service in the areas of leadership, collaboration, and advocacy. We hope that you will join us!
