I am a researcher in the mathlab at the International School for Advanced Studies (SISSA). Before this, I was a postdoctoral researcher in the Numerical Analysis Group at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, University of Florence. My research interests encompass numerical analysis, approximation theory, splines, fractals, their interactions, and practical applications.

I earned my Ph.D. at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi under the mentorship of Dr. P. Viswanathan.

A brief bio-sketch

Kshitij was born in a small village in the Giridih district of Jharkhand, known for its abundant natural resources. Following his early education in his hometown, Kshitij earned his B.Sc. from St. Xavier's College Ranchi, Jharkhand. He then went to the Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur to pursue M.Sc. in Mathematics. From July 2018 to July 2023, Kshitij spent his time at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi pursuing Ph.D. in Mathematics. Continuing his academic journey, he further refined his research acumen through a brief tenure (August 2023 - December 2023) as an early postdoctoral fellow and research associate at the same institution.
